Teaching Artist

In collaboration with Jodie Langel Voice & Acting Studio, her longtime mentor, Deanna offers voice lessons and monologue coaching. Students will be guided through a brief warmup and then we will begin working on repertoire (songs and/or monologue). We will go over vocal technique, song interpretation, audition cuts and audition preparation, discussion about managing nerves and anxiety, physical awareness, visualization, college audition preparation, monologues, building your book, career coaching, and expert advice. As your work with Deanna progresses, Deanna will suggest songs and/or monologues that will build your book of repertoire, challenge your vocal and artistic growth, and strategically set you up for success in achieving your goals.  Deanna works with students ages 4 and up and believes that understanding your singing voice and wholly interpreting a song and its context is a holistically rewarding experience that enhances all aspects of life. Beginner students are welcome!
